Registration of birth of a child (boy, girl) should be done within 90 days from the date of birth in the local municipality office or Panchayat Samiti office where the birth has taken place. Or you can get it done before or after 90 days.
Necessary documents like hospital report (photocopy of discharge card), photocopy of Aadhar card of parents, photocopy of Jan Aadhar card, photocopy of Aadhar card of the applicant.
Provide date of birth, child’s name, parents’ names, place of birth and residential address.
Fill the application form:
Collect the birth certificate application form from the Municipal Corporation office or download it from the official website of Rajasthan Government. According to the application form, if the birth certificate of the child will be made, then fill the information in it correctly.
I had also got the birth certificate of my daughter made, then I made a mistake, I had not put the surname in front of the name of the girl. Do not make this type of mistake, otherwise a lot of time and money is wasted in making corrections.
Note: While filling the application form, check the full name of the child, full name of the parents, the permanent address of the father, parents’ Aadhar card number, date of birth, and gender all these carefully.
Attach supporting documents:
Along with the filled application form, submit the supporting documents such as a copy of the hospital discharge summary, Aadhar card of the parents, Photocopy of the Aadhar card of the applicant, Photocopy of Aadhar card of the parents, Photocopy of Jan-Aadhaar card.
Submit application Apply:
Go to the Municipal Corporation office or Panchayat Samiti office where the birth is to be registered. Submit the filled application form along with supporting documents to the concerned authority.
Verification and Approval:
The documents submitted by you will be verified by the concerned employee/authority. If all the documents are attached, the birth certificate will be approved, and you will be provided with a receipt. It is advisable to inquire about the processing time when submitting the application.
Payment of Fees:
Pay the fee for the number of birth certificates you require. Birth certificate fee is Rs 10 or may vary depending on the municipality or panchayat samiti.
Follow up:
If there is any delay or problem in the generation of the birth certificate, contact the concerned authority to expedite the process.
