The robot (Doraemon) comes to help a kid named Nobita(later renamed Nobi). who travels back in time from the 21st century to the year. He goes to the 20th Century and stays with the Nobbys. Nobita Nobi, the only child of Nobi, is a young girl who struggles with low grades, bullying and unwelcome feelings like sadness and jealousy. A few years later, one his descendants sends Doraemon (a robotic cat) back in time to mentor and protect Nobita. Nobita is helped by Doraemon’s time-saving and innovative gadgets.

Doraemon keeps a four-dimensional pouch that he uses for Nobita’s future technology needs.
