How to Improve the Standard of Education?

Improving the standard of education is a big problem in our country. Our standards of education are very low because we do not harvest enough knowledge, or too much information taught at school.

The government should be involved to improve the quality and standard of education by revamping schools, creating new schools and allocating more money for teachers, parents and students.

Train teachers and teachers’ assistants, who have excellent skills in teaching children and preparing lessons. Support large school districts with extra curricular activities such as sports, music and dance lessons. Be willing to experiment with new technology that could make learning more interactive

Education is that process. Through which a person learns himself and also teaches others, education is the cornerstone of our country.

It is a continuous process that leads to all round development of the individual.

Gandhiji has given a very beautiful definition of education –

Education is that which develops the body, mind and soul of the child

At present, if India has to develop at a faster pace, then India will have to make its education system of a high standard.

Ways to Improve the Standard of Education:

1. Education should be improved in rural areas. Teachers should be appointed in schools in villages.

2. The ratio of teachers and students should also be right. There is a shortage of teachers in many schools, due to which the teachers could get the teaching work done properly.

3. Education should be such that the full development of the child takes place. Vocational education in schools should also be taught as the main subject.

4. Today’s era is the era of technology, in such a situation, the child should have computer knowledge, that is why free computer education should be given in every school.

5. Teachers should use innovations in their teaching, instead of rote mode, emphasis should be given to practical education.

6. It is said that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body, that is why along with studies, sports should also be done.

7. Children should also learn various craft work for 2 periods in a week in school, such as clay work, wood, sink, flower leaves, cloth cutting, colored paper etc.

8. From time to time, parents should be called in the school to inform the children about their progress and give suggestions for improvement.

9. Arrangements should also be made for the training of teachers from time to time, in which teachers should be made aware of innovations.

10. A certain part of the national income should be spent on education so that the standard of education can be improved.

11. Villagers should form a team at their level so that they can take care of the children and the school.

12. To learn a good feeling towards the school so that the children of the village can get the playing field ready. Make both the boy and the girl play for the country.

13. Parents should engage themselves more in their child’s education to encourage them to learn and make sure that they get enough rest and food during their learning process.

14. There should be an increase in the number of courses offered by schools. In order for students to be able to study from pre-school level up to University levels, there needed to be more courses offered so students do not have problems choosing which course they would like to take.

15. Teachers should have higher qualifications because they are expected to teach a lot of different subjects on very few days per week so they require better training on what they will teach every day
