And take them to their homes in the evening, then after taking out their milk, they leave them back. And most of the people take their cows to the field in the morning.
Why animals are important
People of Bikaner mostly keep cows and sheep in their homes, most of them depend on them. I have seen many times that these people hire a single person to graze their cattle, paying around Rs 500 per month for grazing.
And the hired man takes those cows away from the village to graze in the forest, the cows which do not give milk, these people give them to graze. Most of the people make their living by selling cow’s milk.

There is some drawback in the development, to go to the city one has to wait for hours because very few buses ply here, maybe once a day.
