The women’s USA volleyball team is a member of the American Volleyball League under the USA Volleyball Association. The team began in 1998 and played their first home game on January 11, 1999 against Portugal. The home venue for the USA Volleyball Team was Oakland, California where they have won 9 league championships, 6 non-league titles, and 3 super league titles in 16 years and qualified to 3 Olympic Games since its creation.

He played well and won the gold for the USA A2 Blue team at the 2010 USA Volleyball Open National Championships.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF VOLLEYBALL
VOLLEYBALL IS A FAMOUS BALL GAME SPORT PLAYED ON THE COURT.
1895: A physical instructor William Morgan of the YMCA, created a game called Wintonette
Alhed Halstead suggested the name Volleyball
1897: The Athletic League of the YMCA of North America published the fin official rules for volleyball
1905: First-time Volleyball was played in Cuba
1915: First-time volleyball was played in Japan
1910: First-time Volleyball was played in the Philippines
1912: The rules were changed as the players were getting younger and more energetic
1916: The National Collegiate Athletic Association joined with YMCA
1920: Volleyball was a college game but not professional
1934: Referees were recognized who would judge championship and inter-college games
1955: Volleyball was played at the international level in America for the first time
1964: Volleyball was played at the Pan Amon Games and Olympics
1960: The newer version of volleyball had come to be known as beach volleyball.
