How to maake Coriander Powder at Home

Hey guys, today’s special spice is coriander, which is available as a seed, leaf, and ground form.

Apart from its distinctive flavor and the juice it releases in our meals, coriander can be used to treat constipation. It also has a wealth of health advantages.

It is used in meals as a culinary spice and to guard against food poisoning.

For my own soups, sauces, and other dishes, I enjoy using coriander powder. The herb gives your dish a finishing touch, the leaf gives it color and flavor, and you utilize the seed to make pickles.

My close friends occasionally remark on how much more flavorful and savory my recipes taste when I prepare them as opposed to when they prepare the same thing.

I take this as a compliment because it shows them how generous I can be with my natural spices.

I bet you guys the same recipe tastes better when I use fresh, home-ground spices like coriander powder.

Let me share with you how to enjoy coriander: toast and ground the seed to give any food a vibrant flavor. This makes it nearly impossible to purchase store-bought products ( I mean when you make it yourself).

As you continue reading, you’ll discover how to make, store, and use coriander.

Guys, the color of packaged coriander seeds may be used to determine their quality; it should be vibrant with an amber tint to denote both freshness and excellence.

It develops a flavor that is more powerful if I toast it beforehand.

All you need to do is heat a pan over medium-low heat, add the coriander seeds, and toast by stirring and shaking the pan.

This will produce a deepen color and a highly aromatic flavor. However, do not toast the seeds for too long because some people prefer a flavor that is particularly aromatic (lol).

Then, add the roasted coriander seeds to a food processor or spice blender, pulse, and shake for intervals of 1 minute, until smooth.

It’s crucial to store for up to 6 months in an airtight container in a cool, dry location(It has the same taste, but it will last longer when stored in an airtight jar and kept away from light or moisture).

The best part is that you don’t have to refrigerate unless you want to change the flavor ( I know no one wants that).
