It may be vocally (using voice), written (using printed or digital media such as books, magazines, websites or emails), visually (using logos, maps, charts or graphs) or non-verbally (using body language, gestures and the tone and pitch of voice). In practice, it is often a combination of several of these.

Careful listening can also create a great environment in which everyone expresses ideas, opinions, and feelings, or plan and solve problems in a creative way.

2. Be Confident When Talking

Confidence is the basic stairs of communication, and we must not avoid its importance. Even though, friendly talking with colleagues can build a strong trust.

confidence is defined as a feeling of trust in one’s abilities, qualities, and judgment. Having healthy confidence can help you become successful in your personal and professional life.

When you are confident, you’ll be more willing to try new things. Healthy chatting/talking with an unknown person can lead to a business opportunity.

3. Asking good questions

“Questioning is the ability to organize our thinking around what we don’t know”.

Good questions can help conversations flow and improve the outcome. When you are conversation with someone, asking questions shows you are interested in them.

During a conversation, always aim to ask open (questions start with How and What)-ended (questions start with Did, Do, would, Could, Must, Is etc).

If you need further information still, you can use probing questions that request even more information from the recipient such as ‘Please Tell me the process of…”

4. Handle the Stress level

When you are under stress you may misunderstand other people, send confusing nonverbal signals, and use funny patterns of behaviour.
